Jeff Francis is coming  back to earth.Everyone following the Colorado Rockies knows the answer to the question. The question, what is wrong with this team, can be answered with one simple word. Pitching. The men on the mound have been absolutely brutal. That is putting it lightly. There is no way to be positive, there is no way to spin this team's pitching into a positive light. The move was retroactive to Aug. 1. Friedrich, who is...

Friedrich loss will create more ugly starts

Christian Friedrich's performance has been up and down during his rookie campaign. His ERA? Mostly up. The news that he is now lost for the season with a stress fracture in his back doesn't hurt him as much as it will Jim Tracy as he tries to manage more awful starting pitching. Friedrich's body will heal and he has some success now to build on as he...
