The internet domain Rockies.com is going on sale next Monday. The website currently serves to promote tourism and vacation spots among the Canadian Rockie Mountains. Obviously, it would be a perfect fit for MLB's Denver-based ball club, the Colorado Rockies.
Venture Capital Group Ltd. is managing Monday's sale, where the Rockies.com domain name is expected to fetch upwards of $400,000, maybe more depending on the high demand coming from MLB.
