There should be absolutely no question who the comeback player of the year is in the National League. It's a dam shame that his season had to an end two weeks early, giving his body up trying to keep a game scoreless that had no business being that tight. How ironic it is, that a blop hit by the pitcher which Tatis dove for would start a two out rally that would score the lone run of a game in which the Mets would relinquish the NL east and he would be lost for the rest of the season. The Mets are still competing this late in the season thanks in part to Fernando Tatis' resurgence..... The 33 y/o third baseman moved to the corner outfield to make the team and ends his season batting .299 in 271 ABs with 11 HRs, 16 doubles, 47 RBIs and an OBP of .372.
