The NBA season has finally started but as the games on Sunday showcased clearly, the players are not all the way ready to start playing competitive basketball. Many players are still struggling to find their shots, to get up to speed on defense or, like Dallas' Sean West, struggling with conditioning. During the Mavericks' second game of the season West came in and gave some solid bench play, scoring 12 points in eleven minutes. Alas, his body wasn't ready for the rigors of an NBA game because when West came out of the game with about 3 minutes remaining he sat down on the bench and then promptly vomited everywhere. Gross! Awesome!Somehow there isn't any video of the actual heaving, but West's vomit-covered face and jersey (and the bemused smiles of his teammates) almost make up for that oversight.
The game was momentarily held while some unlucky trainer's assistant got to wipe up West's vomit from the court. The NBA: Where Amazing Happens.
