There have been conflicting reports about the Atlanta Braves and Baltimore Orioles supposed talks about Adam Jones. Some have said that they discussed JJ Hardy. Others have said the Braves offered Martin Prado and Jair Jurrjens to them. Adam Jones is the only player that the Braves would have interest in from the Orioles.

The Atlanta Braves made a run this month, offering second baseman-outfielder Martin Prado, starter Jair Jurrjens and, eventually, a pitching prospect, and the Orioles didn’t bite. So that tells you just how much they value their center fielder.
It seems like the Braves are finally fed up with not having enough offensive thump in their lineup. Adam Jones is a good player, but he is not a great player. Let’s use reason, here.
