Found June 13, 2009 on Seattle Times:
The Mariners have activated relief pitcher Roy Corcoran, who has been on the disabled list since April 30 with a strained neck. Corcoran is at Coors Field and will be in uniform tonight. Corcoran, for now, will take the roster spot of catcher Rob Johnson, who was placed on the bereavement list. No details yet available, except that it's a family emergency. According to MLB rules, a player, with permission from the commissioner's office, can stay on the bereavement list for three to seven days. Johnson played in Friday's game and had two hits.
