In an interview on 106.7 The Fan DC on Tuesday, Nats reliever Craig Stammen discussed expectations for the upcoming season with Holden Kushner and Danny Rouhier:
"Our manager has definitely already came out and popped off saying that
if we don’t go to the World Series it’s going to be a disappointing
season...Our goal is the same as every other team’s should be and that’s to win the World Series." (Craig Stammen, via 106.7 The Fan, 2/12/2013)
Ok, so we're all well-versed in the perils of increased expectations, but what about square dancing at weddings? Here's Stammen (audio here, too):
Stammen: Where I'm from, it's like a big tradition. That they have some square dancing music going on, and everybody knows how to do it, too.Danny: How is your square dancing. Like, 1-10Stammen: Mine? It's a little rusty, but it's probably about an 8. I know what's going on.Holden: Do you know how to do-si-do your partner? Can you do-si-do yo...

Well, you can check the box next to "Gio Gonzalez arrives at Nationals camp and denies he ever used PEDs." Indeed, a "Shocked", "stunned", and "very confident" Gio arrived on Tuesday morning and faced the music from reporters.
More from Gio on Biogenesis, via ESPN.com's Jayson Stark:

Henry Rodriguez is the ultimate “pitcher with potential.” He has potential because he can hit triple-digits on the radar gun with his fastball on command. The problem: he rarely knows where it’s going. His only truly decent season was...
From 2009-2011, Ian Desmond hit 22 homers in 1,302 plate appearances. In 2012 he hit 25 in just 547. What changed? For starters, Desmond’s fly ball rate corrected a two-year slide, rebounding to 34.5%, and he made those fly balls count, muscling 18.2% of them over the fence. It’ll be interesting to see what he can do for an encore.Contributing to Desmond’s breakout from borderline...
They called him The Chief. Chad Cordero was the first star of
the Washington Nationals. 2005, the Nats inaugural season in the Nations'
Capitol, saw him lead the National League with 47 saves, buoyed by a 0.969
WHIP. However, by 2007, arm troubles beset the likable reliever, and by
age 28, his career was over.
Nearing his 31 birthday, Cordero, according to Los...
Washington Nationals starter Gio Gonzalez arrived at spring training today as pitchers and catchers report for duty. Gonzalez has been embroiled in a hot topic of PEDS when his name appeared in notes from a Miami PED Biogeneisis clinic. After his name was released, Gonzalez took to twitter and vehemently denied any involvement or any purchases with the Miami clinic. Gio addressed...
The participation of Ryan Braun and Gio Gonzalez in the World

When the St. Louis Cardinals knocked off the heavily-favored Washington Nationals in the 2012 MLB National League Division Series, it made sense that some fans would be upset. After all, no team can be loved by 100% of baseball fans, not even the classier and more intelligent Cardinals, who are more realistically loved by 98% of fans. But it seems that some Nationals fans have indeed...
The Washington Nationals pitchers and catchers reported to Viera yesterday to kick off Spring Training 2013. The talk of the first day centered around two starters, Gio Gonzalez and Stephen Strasburg. That focus was starkly different.
First, Gio Gonzalez addressed the PED Miami clinic issue yesterday, again giving a complete denial and an expression of bewilderment of how...
