Schilling: Bonds, Sosa aren't HoFers

Retired pitcher Curt Schilling appeared on Conan O’Brien’s talk show Wednesday night to promote his video game (because, believe it or not, Schilling seriously created a video game). Things were all chummy at the beginning of the chat, with Schilling talking about the “old-school” way to light a teammate’s shoe on fire. But the mood changed when the topic changed to steroids. Conan asked Schilling, who will first appear on the Hall-of-Fame ballot next year, about his stance on whether guys like Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa and Roger Clemens — players who will also be making their first appearances on that year’s ballot but have been tied to steroids or other PED usage — should be elected to the Hall, and Schilling gave an honest and stern answer: No.   “I think you get rid of (their records).
