There are just 7 games tonight with a 7pm start so options are limited to begin with.  Going with Masahiro Tanaka, making his MLB debut for the New York Yankees and Shelby Miller vs a struggling Pittsburgh Pirates offense, limits your offensive weapons to just the Yankees, St. Louis Cardinals, Texas Rangers, Tampa Bay Rays, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Houston Astros, San Diego Padres, Miami Marlins, Seattle Mariners and Oakland Athletics.  I am ignoring the New York Mets and Cincinnati Reds game today because the weather in New York is terrible and doesn't look like it will be clearing up any time soon.  We have already been burned by games being postponed, so we will just pretend like they aren't even playing today.New York Yankees @ Toronto Blue JaysThe Yankees managed just 7 runs over the first 3 games of the season against the Astros.   It's time to wake them bats up!  They will face Dustin McGowan tonight, who is pretty terrible so Jacoby Ellsbury, Brian McCann, Carlos Beltran, Derek Jeter and Brett Gardner are all decent options tonight.  If Yangervis Solarte gets the nod again, he is a better option than Brian Roberts.  He orchestrated the Yankees only win against Houston with 3 hits, including a double, scoring twice, driving in a run and drawing a walk.  We highlighted Solarte prior to the start of the season. As we are starting Tanaka, there is no room for Edwin Encarnacion, Jose Bautista or any of the Blue Jays hitters on our roster.St. Louis Cardinals @ Pittsburgh PiratesThe Cardinals scored 7 of their 8 runs against the Reds in yesterdays game, but were shutout the night before and won just 1-0 on opening night.  They will face Gerrit Cole so it is not wise to take on that challenge.  Matt Adams leads the Red Birds with 5 hits, but we suggest ignoring this game.We picked Miller over Cole in this great pitching matchup as the Pirates offense is not nearly as talented as the Cards.  Pittsburgh has played 35 innings already (10 and 16 inning games) and scored just 7 runs.  Avoid Andrew McCutchen and crew.Texas Rangers @ Tampa Bay RaysAfter scoring 10 runs in the opener, and losing, the Rangers scored 3 and 4 runs in wins over the Philadelphia Phillies.  Texas will face Jake Odorizzi, who is a top pitching prospect in baseball.  Adrian Beltre, Leonys Martin and Alex Rios have each started the season hot with 5 hits, but you might want to pick one from the bunch, including Princ Fielder and Shin-Soo Choo if you need to find one last player. The Rays split a 4 game series with the Blue Jays, scoring 16 runs over the 2 wins and 2 runs over the 2 losses.  Unfortunately, that is how the Rays offense will always operate.  However, I love Evan Longoria against left Joe Saunders.  Longo is just 2 for 8 off Saunders but both have been home runs and hits .290 against lefties over the last 3 season with 26 home runs and 26 doubles in just 359 ABs!Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim @ Houston AstrosI am well aware that the Angels got swept by the Seattle Mariners and managed just 8 runs over 3 games.  But Lucas Harrel is not Felix Hernandez, Erasmo Ramirez or James Paxton..  Harrell owns a career 4.59 ERA with a 1.56 WHIP, the Angels bats are ready to explode, and I am stacking Mike Trout, Albert Pujols and Josh Hamilton tonight.  If I had the space, David Freese would be in my lineup too as he is 5 of 12 off Harell with 2 doubles and a homer. The Astros scored 6 runs in the opener, and followed that up with 5 total runs in two games.  Their bats are not something you want in your lineup, more of a fill in, cash strapped move.San Diego Padres @ Miami MarlinsAs expected the Padres struggled to score runs in their series with the Los Angeles Dodgers, and racked up just 25 total bases in three games!  Avoid at all costs. The Marlins, on the otherhand, got the best of the Colorado Rockies pitching staff, scroing 27 runs in  a 3-1 series win.  They get to continue their hot streak tonight against Eric Stults, who pitches to contact.  Adeiny Hechavarria has 7 hits and 4 runs scored, and comes cheap at the SS position.  Giancarlo Stanton and Marcell Ozuna in the outfield are solid plays, while Casey McGehee's 8 RBI & .588 OBP, thanks to 4 walks, is another great option for tonight.Seattle Mariners @ Oakland AthleticsAfter scorign 26 runs against the Angels, Seattle managed just 2 runs against Oakland last night, and they played 12 innings.  Tonight they face Dan Straily, who won 10 of his 27 starts last season and kept his ERA right under 4.00.The Athletics will face Chris Young, who hasn't pitched in the Majors since 2012.  Young is a fly ball pitcher who will give up the long ball.  I am starting Coco Crisp and Jed Lowrie, as they have done a good job getting on base early on and could each pop one out.
