It's Valentine's Day. And that's all I have to say about that. I won't go into my opinions on this day. But I thought I should at least semi acknowledge it. The Padres made a signing yesterday! Mark Grant has a new contract to keep broadcasting games. Interesting that we have all these guys lined up to call games and yet still no official confirmation on a TV contract. I have a feeling we should know something by the end of the month (I hope). It's nice to know Mudcat will be giving analysis for a few more years. I have heard some commentators from around the league, and let me say that we are blessed for having him. Even Dick Enberg is better than some...seriously.
