Both center fielder B.J. Upton and designated hitter Johnny Damon say that they want to be back with the Tampa Bay Rays in 2012 according to Marc Topkin of the St. Petersburg Times.
Damon signed a one-year, $5.25 million deal with the Rays last year, so he will be a free agent this winter. “I don't even feel like packing anything up,” he said. “I felt like this was the perfect fit. … I would love to be back.”
