INSIDER: The Bombers have taken two out of three from the Orioles.
ON THE MOUND:

Joba Chamberlain allowed 3 runs on 9 hits while walking two and also struck out 5. The three runs came on a Aubrey Huff three-run homer.
Huff celebrated as he rounded the first base bag, looking directly at Chamberlain and shouting as he pumped his right fist. Huff did the same after touching home plate, showing off with more authority as he accepted greetings from Brian Roberts and Adam Jones, who were aboard for the shot.
Chamberlain's fist pumps have been a topic of conversation around the league since he debuted in 2007, and the Baltimore clubhouse has been no exception.
"He's done it a couple of times to me when he's struck me out," Huff said. "For me, it's just in good fun. I always told the guys that if I get him, I'm going to give him a nice fist pump. For me, it wasn't really showing anybody up. I was just trying to have some fun with it. He does it all the time and I figured, 'You know what, why not?'"
Phil Coke hurled two scoreless innings.
Mariano Rivera locked down the ninth inning for his sixth save.
THE OFFENSE:
Mark Teixeira used a pink bat to belt a first-inning solo home run off Orioles right-hander Koji Uehara.
Teixeira said the shot was important: his mother, Margy, is a breast cancer survivor, having been diagnosed when Teixeira was a freshman at St. Joseph's High School in Baltimore.
"It's obviously huge. I think that's the first home run I've hit with a pink bat, so I'm going to go bring that to mom right now," Teixeira said. "As soon as I hit it, I thought about it. It's pretty special to me."
Teixeira said that he saved a pair of pink bats from earlier in his career for his mom, but Sunday's was more significant, considering that it had been used to go deep -- at Camden Yards, of all places.
"This one -- hitting a home run, in Baltimore -- it's pretty cool," said Teixeira. "I think this one she'll remember and it will be special for her."
Robinson Cano cut the deficit to one run in the seventh with a solo homer off reliever Jamie Walker. Francisco Cervelli beat out a ground ball and Derek Jeter picked up an infield hit.

Johnny Damon then came up and hit a 3-run shot to right to give the Yankees a 5-3 lead.
It was his fifth homer in seven games, continuing a stretch that has seen him hit .419 (13-for-31) and he has 10 homers in total.
INJURY STATUS:
Nady is set for his next step in rehab.
According to Peter Abraham, Chien-Ming Wang will start Tuesday for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees. He can throw up to 100 pitches, and if he has a good game the Yankees may decide he's ready to return to the big leagues.
