Found May 05, 2011 on Dodgers Locker:
23-year old lefty swinging shortstop Dee Gordon came into this season as the Dodgers’ #1 prospect according to Baseball America. Gordon has played in 22 games in AAA-ball so far this year and he is 27 for 94 (.287 avg, .683 OPS) with 17 runs scored, 0 homers, 9 RBIs and 11 stolen bases. He has now played in 346 games in his first four years in the minors and he is 426 of 1,438 (.296 avg, .733 OPS) with 244 runs scored, 7 homers, 110 RBIs and 155 stolen bases. If the Dodgers decide to deal Rafael Furcal later in the year or if he gets hurt again, Gordon could get his big chance to follow in his dad’s footsteps (pitcher Tom Gordon) by having a long and productive major league career.
