Johan Santana was unable to hold it down by himself as he pitched 6 innings, giving up 5 hits, 3 runs, while walking 3, and striking out 5. He got the no decision.........
Carlos Delgado has become "Bat Man" hitting two more HR's , driving in 3 runs.
Dan Murphy got the go ahead run in with a RBI double in the eighth.
The Bullpen was excellent starting with Brian Stokes who got the win. Feliciano, Smith, Ayala teamed up to get the 6 outs. They showed a lot of character and we needed it!
Mets back in first place by a half a game with three to play against the Phillies......
