Dom D's Mets Fan Blog:
Johan Santana pitched well enough to get the win, but didn't. He kept the Mets in the game , pitching 6 innings, giving up 7 hits, 2 runs, while walking 1, and striking out 10.
Jose Reyes extends his hitting streak to 11 games..Going 2 for 4..with a double
Carlos Delgado hit a Go-Ahead 2-run HR, it was Carlos' 31st...
Mets tacked on with a RBI double by Ryan Church........
Bullpen stayed solid today, Figueroa got the win and Ayala got his 4th save.
The Niese experiment will be tomorrow, I hope he does well............
Mets could gain a game because the HOT Nationals are winning 6-3 at the time of this post..
