6-4-2: Double Play Blog:
The Giants had a few scoring opportunities against Vicente Padilla, but wasted all but one of them, most notably in the fifth with men on second and third and one out.
Russell Martin's three-run jack in the fourth effectively put the game away for the Giants, but the Dodgers continued to tack on single runs in the fifth, sixth, and seventh, and even got two more on James Loney's two-run shot in the ninth. James McDonald finished the game with a clean ninth, giving Padilla a 3-0 record since joining the Dodgers.
