Eli's MLB Rumors:
The Los Angeles Times is reporting that the Dodgers have made Will Ohman a one year offer worth 1 million dollars. Ohman, who is also in talks with the Pirates, threw for manager Joe Torre and others last week. The Dodgers were impressed with how quickly Ohman warmed up, which shows his strong work ethic despite being a free agent. "I've definitely been training with the purpose of being ready for opening day," Ohman said. "I think I showed that." The Braves and Phillies backed out of talks with Ohman after he refused to back off his original offer of 2 million annually. If the Dodgers are serious, they could probably work out a one year deal in 1.3-1.5 million dollar range.
