The Dodgers have won the World Series! That’s how they acted after Tony Gwynn’s single gave the Dodgers a walk off 3-2 win in the finale of the 3 game series at Chavez Ravine. I love enthusiasm, but I have always been told that you don’t ever want to embarrass the opponent. Isn’t mobbing each other after a meaningless June game doing just that? I remember when Garret Anderson had 10 RBI against the Yankees a few years ago, he wouldn’t even crack a smile. I guess they do things different nowadays. It was a great pitchers game today. Jered Weaver and Clayton Kershaw are two of baseballs best. Kershaw actually pitched a complete game, as the Dodgers beat the Angels at Dodger stadium for the first time in more than 2 years. Giving Tony Gwynn credit for a triple in the 7th inning is a joke. Vernon Wells is a 3-time gold Glove winner, and the ball hit his glove. He should have made that catch.
