Los Angeles Dodgers left-handed pitcher Ted Lilly was placed on the 15-day disabled list on Monday because of shoulder inflammation.

The move is retroactive to last Thursday, because Lilly last pitched on Wednesday.

Lilly is eligible to return June 8 at Seattle, and he is tentatively scheduled to start that game.

The Dodgers called up left-hander Michael Antonini from Triple-A Albuquerque. However, Nathan Eovaldi could be called up from Double-A Chattanooga to start Tuesday's game.

Lilly started feeling pain in his shoulder after his May 18 start and it continued to be problem.

Through that May 18 game, Lilly was 5-0 with a 1.79 ERA, but he was hit hard in his next start and has a 5-1 record with a 3.14 ERA for the season.
