How dare the Los Angeles Dodgers celebrate in ''our'' swimming pool. That was the general sentiment of indignation after Adrian Gonzalez and 20 or so other Dodgers left the champagne-soaked visitors' clubhouse and jumped into the iconic Chase Field pool in jubilation after clinching the NL West title in Phoenix. The Dodgers insist they meant no disrespect, but that pool in the right field corner of Chase Field is as close to a landmark as the ballpark has. Arizona utility infielder Willie Bloomquist and Sen. John McCain are among those who took to Twitter to decry the Dodgers for a perceived lack of respect.

Dodgers credit team chemistry for turnaround

SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- Their pace may have been a little slower than normal -- celebrating pennants can do that to a team, especially one out of practice in winning. But it was a happy group of Dodger personnel that walked into the visiting clubhouse at Petco Park in San Diego early Friday afternoon as the newly crowned champions of the National League West. "Nice to have...

Adam Eaton Literally Gives Dodgers Catcher a Hand After Striking Out, Falling Down, Letting Himself Get Tagged (GIF)

Adam Eaton is a very helpful ballplayer. After Dodgers catcher Tim Federowicz had trouble scooping up a pitch to record a strikeout of Eaton for the third out in the fifth inning of Arizona’s win over Los Angeles on Wednesday night, Eaton did everything he could to lend Federowicz a hand. Eaton struck out on three pitches, and his last swing was a doozy. He went around so hard...

Photo: Dodgers fan has image of Dodger Stadium tattooed on side of head

There is perhaps nothing more a fan can do to prove their loyalty to a team other than getting a tattoo of its stadium on their head, right? While the former sentence can certainly be debated, there is no debating the reality that this Los Angeles Dodgers fan has an image of Dodger Stadium inked on the side of his head. Oh, and upon further review, it looks like he...
