Does Cal Ripken's legacy include an ass kicking of Kevin Costner?

With all of the talk about Ripken's pristine legacy and his election into the Hall of Fame, I was reminded of a great rumor I had heard a while back: in '94 Cal caught his buddy Costner in bed with Mrs. Ripken, beat the crap out of him, then caused the Orioles to postpone a game in order to preserve 'The Streak.' I hope this rumor is true, because after "The Postman" Costner deserved to have his ass kicked.
