Last night, the Texas Rangers held their annual "Bark in the Park" event against the Chicago White Sox and it appears that one pooch did his best to stick it out to the final out.
Clearly, the coat is doing a good job at keeping him warm...

ARLINGTON, Texas Rangers closer Joe Nathan almost had to re-introduce himself to his teammates when he finally returned to the mound Saturday.
Nathan had not pitched since April 26 at Minnesota, but showed no signs of rust with a quick, 1-2-3 ninth inning in the 5-1 win over the Red Sox.
It wasn't a save situation, except in the sense that it saved Nathan from having to wait...
Rangers pitcher Colby Lewis will begin a minor league rehab assignment next week. Lewis will be assigned to Triple-A Round Rock after throwing an extended spring training game on Saturday according to ESPN Dallas.
The Rangers expect to welcome Lewis back to the starting rotation before the end of the month.
Last season Lewis made 16 starts for the Rangers going 6-6 with a 3.43 ERA...
ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -- Adrian Beltre had a three-run double among his four hits, Derek Holland pitched eight scoreless innings for his fifth consecutive victory over Boston and the Texas Rangers beat the Red Sox 7-0 Friday night.
While Holland (2-2) had a season-high nine strikeouts and held Boston to six singles, the Rangers had a season-high 18 hits.

Well, it took more than a month to happen, but it was going to happen eventually. The Rangers lost their first series of 2013 with a 3-1 loss to the White Sox tonight.
The Rangers pitchers had a decent night. Justin Grimm went 6.2, giving up just three runs while striking out nine. That’s nothing to complain about, although the four walks certainly aren’t fun. Michael...
The Chicago White Sox have been renowned for keeping pitchers relatively healthy in recent years, including the successful rehabilitation of former Cy Young winner Jake Peavy, who made an incredible comeback after completely tearing his latissimus dorsi tendon completely off the bone in 2010. Unfortunately, that trend does not seem to be continuing in to 2013, with Tommy John...

The Texas crew calling the game tonight.
Uniform of the day is all grey with black trim, numbers and lettering.
Jordan Danks was listed to play but with swelling behind one knee, Robin made the late change sending in DeWayne Wise in his place.
Jose Quintana had thrown 56 pitches with 34 strikes up to the fourth inning, then got burned...
Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Gavin Floyd will have a third opinion on his elbow on Monday. According to Bob Nightengale, Floyd “tentatively plans to have “Tommy John,” surgery on torn elbow ligament” which would end the right handers season.
The injury occurred in Floyd’s last start on Saturday as he was removed in the third inning and subsequently placed on the disabled...
Hector Santiago allowed two in five-plus innings filling in for Jake Peavy on Thursday night, Tyler Flowers hit a three-run homer and the Chicago White Sox beat Texas 3-1, handing the Rangers their first series loss of the season.
Flowers' drive just inside the foul pole in left field was the third straight hit after Texas right-hander Justin Grimm (2-1) retired 10 in a row...
The Colorado Rockies have agreed to a minor-league deal with three-time All-Star pitcher Roy Oswalt.
The team announced the news on its Twitter account Thursday, with Oswalt expected to report to extended spring training.
The 35-year-old Oswalt has a career record of 163-96. He's also 4-0 with a 2.25 ERA at Coors Field.
On his Twitter account, Oswalt tweeted: ''Always...
This is Norman the Scooter Dog (yes, the name just about says it all), who headlined the Texas Rangers' "Bark in the Park" event on Tuesday against the White Sox.
It’s a battle of power at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington as the Boston Red Sox take on the Texas Rangers in what is sure to be a great weekend of baseball in the Lone Star State. The Red Sox come in with the best record in baseball, 20-8, and look to continue their dominance on the road (9-3 road record). Texas, meanwhile, just lost its first series...

highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as
satisfying as a good morning dump.
“I’ve pretty much done everything in this
place,” he said. “I’ve pitched good here, I’ve been terrible here and
pretty much everything in between.”
The White Sox take their road show and modest two game winning streak into Kansas City to take on the first place Royals in a weekend series at Kauffman Stadium. The series win in Texas for the Sox was the first since the opening week of the season and was also the first time Texas lost a series this year.
The Royals on the other hand just swept a weather abbreviated two...
We considered just copy & pasting a wrap from a previous start Jeremy Guthrie had against the White Sox here. Because frankly, there's just not much to say.
The Royals defeated the White Sox 2-0 on Saturday evening thanks to Guthrie (pictured above, H/T AP) and despite a very strong effort from Sox' starter Dylan Axelrod.
After letting up two runs in the...
