Despite the immediate denial of that report by Hal Steinbrenner, it nevertheless touched off a round of speculation as to who might be a good fit as a new owner. A person frequently mentioned was one Donald Trump. You might have heard of him. Needless to say, the Donald's management style and a certain catchphrase -- made famous on his long-running show The Apprentice -- would have the potential to make playing under George Steinbrenner seem like a walk in the park.
