Felix Doubront continues the roll he's on as he goes six innings, allowing just two runs and he gets in his fourth win in five decisions as the Sox beat the Tigers, 7-4.

The Sox got to Doug Fister early as they managed to score five runs in the first three innings. There was a blessing in diguise as Mike Aviles appeared to strike out but the umpires declared it to be a foul tip that catcher Gerald Laird failed to catch. Aviles took advantage as he managed to get an RBI single that started the three run rally in the second.

This made Jim Leliand and Gene Lamont irate and led to a nice argument between those two and the umpires. Both Lamont & Leiland got tossed out of the game.

Ryan Sweeney had a nice return off of the disabled list going 3-for-4. Aviles, Ortiz, and Salty each had two hits as well. Dustin Pedroia left the game in the sixth with an apparent hand injury. Bobby Valentine called it a sprained thumb in his postgame press conference and there it's unsure if he will be going on the DL or just be day-to-day.

Scott Atchison had himself a solid outing too as pitched the seventh & eighth innings allowing only one hit & struck out four. He hasn't given up a run all month (10 appearances, 14 2/3 innings) and his ERA is now at 0.93 (!!!). This was a guy who was competing for his job in Spring Training and is now arguably the best reliever in the bullpen.
