Since the Miami Marlins suck it is pretty unlikely that many folks have this guy on their fantasy baseball rosters. Guys (or gals) if have space on your roster where you can stash someone you want to put in a claim for this kid--Jose Fernandez-- ASAP. Your browser does not support iframes. Jose is only 20, but his minor league stats are pretty darn impressive. When the club opted to bring up to the Show now rather than let him get some more experience in the minors there were plenty of folks that thought the Marlins were nuts (shocker, right?). Well, on Sunday young Jose showed the world exactly why the team went ahead and brought him up. In five innings of work (follow link to see a video of Jose at work) against the New York Mets he struck out eight while only allowing three hits, a walk, and one run.
