Last week, we took a look at the final catcher rankings. This week, we’ll take a look at the final fifteen first base rankings. Of course, with fantasy baseball we have players that are eligible at multiple positions. I typically don’t play that game too much, so some guys here might be better fits elsewhere, but I trust that you can make your own master lists on your own.
15. Freddie Freeman– Atlanta Braves
2012 Projection: 34.0
2011 Finish: N/A
Park Adjusted: 33.2
Second year guys are so hard to project. Some of them continue to grow while others suffer from that fabled sophomore slump. Freeman projects as a good hitter, but not a great hitter. He’ll likely show more power moving forward, but might see a slip in batting average and on base percentage temporarily.
