Shortstop is an interesting position. There are a couple of players aiming to make comebacks into the top of the list. Unlike other positions, the top of the list is sparse which makes for some interesting draft day strategies. You can either strike early and get one of the top two guys or you can wait when the herd becomes crowded with good, but not great fantasy performers.
16. Hanley Ramirez– Miami Marlins

2012 Projection: 0.5
Ramirez’s curve has been going down for a few years now, but it fell off the cliff last season. TRI sees a bit of a comeback, but not much of one. I personally would expect a little more than this, but I wouldn’t make him a top five selection among shortstops either. He is moving to third base, but should be eligible at short in most leagues.
