FLA 2, BOS 1: Sweep delayed

Ricky Nolasco and Mother Nature stopped the Red Sox from completing a three game sweep against the Marlins. Nolasco allowed just one hit through the first five innings while Dan Uggla and Ronny Paulino both homered to beat Boston 2-1 in a rain shortened six inning game. Kevin Youkilis had the only hit for Boston - a solo shot in the first - and Jon Lester dropped to 5-6 on the season with the loss. Lester gave up two runs, both homers, eight hits, no walks and four strikeouts. Goat of the Game - Weather It's tough to say how far Nolasco would have pitched but he was dealing last night. Next Game - 6/19 vs. Atlanta Braves - Kenshin Kawakami/Daisuke Matsuzaka Dice-K needs a solid outing here against the Braves.
