Wilmer Flores will get a chance to play second this week, according to Kristie Ackert of the Daily News. .
The infielder, who spent the majority of his season playing second in Triple-A, had started 14 games at third base since he was called up, filling in for the injured David Wright.
On Sunday, Collins gave Flores a day off, in part to keep him off his right ankle, which he sprained Aug. 12.
It will be great to finally see Flores get a good look at second base, especially with Wright getting ready to play in rehab games.

Lost in the debut of Daisuke Matsuzaka last night, was the three-hit performance of third baseman Wilmer Flores, the player whose numbers were mostly the product of the Pacific Coast League, according to some so-called experts.
