Marlins outfielder Chris Coghlan was recalled from his rehab assignment with Double-A Jacksonville because of soreness in his surgically repaired left knee. Coghlan after played two games with Class-A Jupiter appeared in five games with the Suns and went 4-for-19 (.211) with a double, four walks and a strikeout. “The knee stiffened up a bit  and we want to back him off and get it completely healthy,” President of Baseball Operations Larry Beinfest said. The Marlins were set to option Coghlan to Triple-A New Orleans last month when he revealed the issue with his knee. Teams cannot send out injured players, so the Marlins placed Coghlan on the 15-day disabled. Had he made it through his rehab assignment without incident, chances are the Marlins would have sent him to New Orleans… Meanwhile, Josh Johnson remains on no-throw status.
