Sending outfielder Bryan Petersen to Triple-A New Orleans after Wednesday’s game was just the first in an avalanche of roster moves for the Florida Marlins. Thursday, they announced right-hander Burke Badenhop also was optioned to Triple-A and left-hander Renyel Pinto was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a left hip strain. Replacing them in the bullpen: left-hander Taylor Tankersley and right-hander Jay Buente. In addition, the Marlins selected Mike Lamb from the Zephyrs to replace Petersen. Buente will be making his major league debut. He went 0-1 with a 2.70 ERA, 17 walks and 35 strikeouts in 26 2/3 innings for New Orleans. Opponents batted .196 off him. Tankersely appeared in 20 games for New Orleans, going 3-2 with a 4.19 ERA, six walks and 17 strikeouts in 19 1/3 innings. Most importantly, he held left-handed hitters to a .143 average.
