Florida Marlins: Team President David Samson a Hall of Famer — for charity

Marlins President David Samson will be inducted into the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida Ultimate Sports Auction Shrine on Friday, March 11, at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa. Fellow Make-A-Wish Hall of Famer Jeff Conine will introduce Samson at the annual Ultimate Sports Auction. The event, which features representatives from the four pro franchises, the University of Miami and other national sports figures, has raised $3.6 million, enough to grant 850 wishes in South Florida.
