There has been much debate over the course of the last few weeks whether Los Angeles Dodgers rookie Yasiel Puig belonged at the upcoming All-Star game in New York. Players, analysts and fans alike all chimed in voicing their support or stance against the selection. However, forget about the All-Star game this kid is making baseball history before your very eyes rewriting this record books just 6 weeks into his major league career. As baseball fans we have been pretty spoiled over the past few seasons thanks to the likes of Mike Trout, Bryce Harper and Stephen Strasburg all making their mark on the game. But I have a gut feeling that the native of Cuba may be in a league of his own, and yes I realize Puig will not hit .400 forever and yes I realize opposing pitchers may be able to exploit his free swinging.
