I’ve heard some crazy things said by professional athletes via Twitter. But the news that Jose Canseco plans to attempt a comeback in Major League Baseball ranks at the very top. The craziness began when Canseco tweeted on Sunday night: “I am going to play this year”. He then tweeted: “Billy beane call me would love to dh for you just give me a tryout that’s all I ask” The speculation is that Canseco wants to join the Oakland Athletics because 1) they are his old team, and 2) he has heard about their interest in 39-year old Manny Ramirez. Canseco then tweeted: “Billy beane email me Jc7264@yahoo.com”. So there you have it. Canseco’s email address for the world to see. Canseco then went on to tweet that baseball hated Bill James but the Boston Red Sox hired him so baseball should hire him. He said that he loves the game too much to give it up. Then he added his statistics, saying he has a .350 career batting average at Fenway Par...

  • I think Canseco could be a big asset to the Oakland A's. I know he might be a screw-up but if the A's can keep him under control i think we have a good chance this coming year. Yes i am a dye hard A's Fan From their losing streak to there winning the World Series. Always and forever a A's fan.
