Found September 25, 2013 on Padres Public:
Once in a great while, I struggle to think of topics to write about for this website. Actually, I think I’ve managed to struggle every other week this season. Half of my posts have been thought up the day before they’re due to be published. Having said that, I think I’ve done an okay job, especially considering I’ve only been doing this since January of last year. That’s why I jumped at the chance when I was asked if I wanted to join Padres Public. Lord knows nobody else would bother to put up with my crap on a weekly basis. I was sitting here over the weekend, once again struggling to come up with a topic, when it hit me. You people pretty much hang on my every word on Twitter. Why not ask you guys to come up with something? Ok, Twitter. Give me some #Padres topics to write about for this week. Best one gets credit in Wednesday's @PadresPublic. And ice cream. — Ghost of Ray Kroc (@GhostofRAK) September 21, 2013 I had a few great suggestions. But for the most part, you people w...

SAN DIEGO -- Ian Kennedy's solid pitching and offensive production throughout the San Diego Padres lineup was enough to beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 12-2 on Wednesday night. Kennedy (7-10) struck out seven and allowed two runs and six hits in seven innings while facing his ex-team for the second time since being acquired by the Padres on July 31. Andrew Cashner and a Plea to Mike Dee

A couple of days ago I received a fantastic opportunity at the behest of the San Diego Padres: Come watch baseball with a bunch of your buddies and talk to new Padres CEO, Mike Dee. Accepting the invitation was easy but I wanted to be sure that I also challenged the new guy when I met him so I began brain-storming. And as the tempest resided Andrew Cashner appeared. My excitement...

San Diego Padres Burch Smith: Power Arm, Raw Prospect

Burch Smith was selected in the 14th round by the San Diego Padres in 2011. The big righthander from the University of Oklahoma had previously attended Howard Community College. Before being selected by the Padres, Smith was drafted in the 49th round by the Cleveland Indians in 2009, and again by the Indians in the 20th round in 2010, but declined to sign. The 23 year-old has...

The Padres last winter picked up the options on the contract of manager Bud...

Will Venable could be shut down

San Diego Padres have not had the best season and at this point the team is just waiting for the season to be over.
