Unlike the Sox the last two nights the Rays hit a couple of homers with people on base putting the Sox in an early hole that they could not escape despite a solid effort.Penny’s night was not what the Sox were hoping for but by the same token he gave the Sox six innings on a night when they really needed it. Unlike his implosion a week ago against Oakland Penny helped the Sox out on Wednesday night.- I have to say that so far I’m liking what Terry Francona has done with the lineups.
