Seattle Times:
Ichiro sits again, but will play tomorrow barring an unexpected setback.
"We felt one more day would help us a whole lot for everyone to feel a little safer when he came back,'' manager Don Wakamatsu said. "If we played him today, he'd have to try to manage his running. Twenty-four hours could make a big difference for him and just give us all peace of mind."
Ken Griffey Jr. still has soreness in his knee and is day to day. Carlos Silva will pitch an inning in Everett tomorrow for the Aqua Sox before moving to Tacoma. He is tentatively scheduled to pitch Thursday and possibly Sunday for the Rainiers.
This Angels lineup will be a stiff challenge for Luke French.
