-Brad Lidge had a cortisone shot on his right elbow, which the team is saying is just flaring up a bit. He could be throwing in a week. However, that’s now been several shots into that elbow and you have to wonder if it’ll be able to handle the rigors of a major league season again. Lidge might be pitching soon, but don’t expect much from him, which is a shame; he’s one of the nicest people in the clubhouse.
-Still no J-Roll. He did take part in a catch with coach Mick Billmeyer before the game, but is still not 100 percent. His knee continues to have some swelling, which is hindering his mobility.
