As you know, this is your source for all the latest in Rich Gedman news. He's moved up, from short-season A ball to high A, as he'll be the hitting coach for the Salem Red Sox in 2012. Moving up, but moving out of the area, unfortunately. But hey, it's all part of the plan of seeing Geddy back at Fenway as a coach one day. Scutaro: gone. He was one of the few September bright spots. But apparently our solution to a ****** end of the season is to let the exact wrong people go. I will continue to assume they've got a plan, though. It's nowhere near April yet.
