Rockies' slugger, Jason Giambi, told GM, Dan O'Dowd that he won't mind being traded in August as long as he can return to the team in 2012 according to Jim Armstrong of the Denver Post.
“As far as I know, I'm here,” said Giambi. “I told Dan that whatever goes on, as long as it doesn't hurt my chances of coming back here, I'm up for it.
“That's the thing I wanted most for them to hear. If there was a situation where it was, ‘Oh, I think this would be a good opportunity for you,' that would be fine as long as they know I want to come back.”
