Giambi Wants Apology, MLB Listening?

Jason Giambi came out and said that Major League Baseball needs to apologize to the American public for the current steroid problem. "Steroids and all of that was a part of history. But it was a topic that everybody wanted to avoid. Nobody wanted to talk about it," said Giambi who admitted in 2003 that he had used performance inhancers in his career. In an interesting twist, Giambi said that even with the HGH and steroids that he admits to using, the substances did nothing by way of helping him hit home runs. "That stuff didn't help me hit home runs. I don't care what people say, nothing is going to give you that gift of hitting a baseball."
