SAN FRANCISCO -- The San Francisco Giants blew a 4-0 lead, but scored a run in the ninth to tie it and managed to win in extra innings on Monday. Marco Scutaro had three hits and was the hero with a two-out single to left, scoring Brandon Crawford as the Giants beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 9-8 in 10 innings. Crawford legged out an infield single to lead off the 10th inning. Brett Pill's sacrifice bunt moved him to second base. Angel Pagan grounded out to first, moving Crawford to third base. And Scutaro singled through a drawn in infield with the game-winning hit. Trailing 8-7 in the last of the ninth, against Arizona closer JJ Putz, Scutaro doubled high off the left field wall. He advanced to third, then scored on a double down the third base line by Buster Posey to tie the game. The Diamondbacks had scored five runs in the sixth to take a 7-4 lead.
