Sean Green is the one pitcher in the Mets bullpen who is struggling, in 14 appearances he's 0-2 with a 9 ERA. He's been on the receiving end of several lopsided outings; 4/23 Vs. St. Louis five runs, 4/28 Vs. Florida four runs and today he gave up two runs.Green was acquired in the J.J. Putz deal and at the time, many said it was a steal to get him as a throw-in. He's said to be a rubber armed, work horse with a nasty slider, odd arm angle and a short term memory. It's been reported that the Mets believe Green's struggles are a result of mechanical issues, specifically opening up his throwing shoulder too early, giving hitters too much of a look at his pitches. It appears that Green is now aiming his pitches as a result of his mechanics, making him wild and if body posture can be read, it looks like his confidence maybe taking a beating...Before we have another Heilman situation (a very good pitcher who can't pitch in NY) I suggest that Green ( who has option...
