With Hall of Fame inductions just over a week away it is time to kick off another “Hall of Fame Week” here at Freddy’s. If you are a regular reader of the site you know that this is a regular feature at this time every year and I love doing this stuff because I consider the Baseball Hall of Fame of the utmost importance.Unlike other sports I think baseball fans truly cherish and understand what makes a Hall of Famer. Everyone’s exact definition may differ but we have our criteria and I think it matters. The Hall of Fame is never a meaningful discussion point in other sports but for baseball fans it is a year-round topic of discussion.Personally I consider myself a “small Hall” kind of guy, if I may channel my inner-Johnnie Cochran for a moment “if there’s doubt, keep ‘em out!”Regular readers know my criteria which I post at this time each year;1.
