Hawk Harrelson’s Obsession With The Cornhole

How do you follow up the “Dog Day” promotion at U.S. Cellular Field? Well you go ahead and have a Ken “Hawk” Harrelson night on Tuesday. The White Sox announcer, who already has his own theme song and website, is finally getting some love from the organization. The team released this statement previewing the festivities: The evening will include pre-game ceremonies, emceed by Harrelson’s broadcast partner, Steve Stone, where he will be saluted by a number of special guests.  Following the ceremonies, Harrelson will have the opportunity to address the crowd and throw out the ceremonial first pitch.   The first 10,000 fans at the game also will receive Hawk Harrelson Night t-shirt with “Hawkisms,” his popular catch phrases, on each shirt.
