The Phils are red hot. Last nights win was intense. Everyone
was on edge as they all wanted to keep the winning streak alive. At the top of
the sixth the score was stuck at 0-0.
Lee gave up a hit to Carlos Lee, which brought home Solano. The score
was now 1-0, Marlins.
The Fightings weren’t giving up this easily, keeping the
attitude they’ve had all season and continued to fight. In the bottom of the
inning Rollins scored on a single from Mayberry. This ballgame was tied.
Lee pitched seven excellent innings, only allowing one
(unearned) run, on four hits. A solid outing.
The bottom of the seventh was the Phillies time to shine,
Pete Orr hit a single, stealing and the man of the hour, Rollins, came in again
to slam a two run homer to deep right. The Phils had the lead. 3-1.

Q&A: Delino DeShields, Jr., Stealing 101
Delino DeShields, Jr. was clearly overshadowed this season. The 20-year-old Houston Astros prospect stole 101 bases, but thanks to Billy Hamilton‘s record-setting 155, his own thievery went largely unnoticed. Despite the relative lack of attention, DeShields may ultimately prove to be the better player.
Taken eighth overall in the 2010 draft, the right-handed-hitting second baseman...

Lee, Johnson Battle in Pitcher's Duel, Phillies Push to Seven Straight Wins
Last night's wacky 9-7 win must have exhausted the Phillies, as well the Marlins. On a travel day, this evening's game got underway at 4:05, so the two teams had to battle some nasty shadows. Unfortunately for the Fish, they also had to battle Cliff Lee.
