It was a quiet holiday weekend, but here is the latest hot stove buzz circulating around MLB: There is no leader in the Matt Garza sweepstakes. Ryan Braun isn’t expected to win his case to have his 50-game suspension lifted. The Blue Jays re-acquired RHP Jason Frasor from the White Sox for two minor leaguers, and the Padres acquired OF Carlos Quentin from the White Sox for two minor leaguers. The Phillies are looking for an upgrade to Placido Polanco.
