Kevin Kernan of the NY Post has made it official to finally launch a Big Bat Campaign... Kernan says Minaya will not trade the future in order to get the Mets back on track, but Omar admitted something has to be done...

Kevin also suggests that the Mets might go after Aubrey Huff and/or Luke Scott.. But the Mets do not have pitching prospects that they can trade (Parnell, Niese)

Kernan thinks the Mets should think bigger and move towards Carlos Lee, Jermaine Dye, Nick Johnson, or Adrian Gonzalez.

I think the Mets will wait it out until the end of July...and wait for the prices to drop.
