Last time

These two teams have not met since May 2-May 5 of 2011. The Angels came to Fenway and split a 4-game series with the Sox after being swept by Boston in 4 games a week before. Buchholz and Lester picked up the 2 wins and Lackey and Matsuzaka picked up the 2 losses. Big surprise. Ortiz hit a pair of home runs in that series, which makes no difference since we are talking about last season.

This time

Laser Show: Adrian Gonzalez

We'll take the easy route and go with a sure thing.
Pitch Around: Albert Pujols, Mike Trout, & Mark Trumbo

This trio has combined for 81 home runs, and 230 RBI. Albert Pujols started the season very cold and has done a 180 as of late. His 28 homers are second on the team, 1 behind Trumbo's 29. His 85 RBI are good for tops on the team. As I mentioned, Trumbo's 29 homers are a team best and his .543 slugging percentage is second on the roster. Now, this Mike Trout guy. Who the hell does he think he is with his .343 batting average, 24 homers, 70 RBI, and an OPS of 1.013. He's got nothin'!

Don't Fall Behind: Jered Weaver

Weaver has not had great success against the Red Sox in the past and none of that matters this season. Most pitchers are having great success against the Sox this season. Jered Weaver and his mullet have put together a nice little season, to the tune of a 15-3 record and 2.74 ERA. We are going to see one hell of a pitching duel tomorrow night.

How we see it goin' down

The Angels are in a bit of a slump, but the Sox are just the team to break them out of it. I think the Red Sox are due for a good series, so I'll give them this one. The Sox may not sweep, but I'm feeling 2 out of 3.
