After getting blanked by Chris Tillman and dropping the first game, 6-0, the Sox won the next 2 games with ease (7-3 & 5-0). Stephen Drew came up big in game 2, going 3-for-4, with a pair of homers and 5 total RBI. David Ortiz followed with a 4-for-4 performance in the 3rd game, with a 2-run homer and 3 singles. This time Laser Show: Mike Napoli I know he has only done well in the last two games, but I am calling this the beginning of a hot streak. Plus he has to make a case for a contract next season and time is running out. His recent 5-for-8 performance at the plate, with a homer and 4 RBI has me giddy. Sure the home run came with a big lead, and two games is not enough to prove he will improve, but give him a chance. Pitch Around: Chris Davis .306 average, 46 home runs, and 118 RBI. Damn. His 46 homers is the thing standing between Miguel Cabrera (43 homers) and his back-to-back Triple Crown. Don't Fall Behind: Chris Tillman  Tillman tossed 7 innings of 2-hit and 8 strikeout ball against the Sox a month ago. Although he is only 1-1 since then, he will take over the Sox very easily. Put the ball in play, or he will pile up the K's again. How we see it goin' down The Sox have just taken down the mighty LA Dodgers, and I am sure they are feeling VERY good about it. They are going to ride that high into Fenway, where they are 40-23, and take 2 from the Orioles. Screw the Orioles.
